Where can I find the Standing Rules?
 
On the left-hand, light-blue column, click on Council and the page that comes up will have the Standing Rules in pdf format. Click on them to read and/or print.
 
 
Where do I find the Goals for Albany Presbytery?

How much do we pay a Moderator for attending Session?
 
For 2010, the honorarium for moderators is $62.50 minimum plus mileage and expenses. Mileage reimbursement isat the current IRS rate (50 cents per mile as of January 1, 2010). It is expected that payment will be made at the time of service.
 
 
How much do we pay a Supply Preacher?
 
For 2010, the honorarium for Supply Preachers is $130 plus mileage reimbursement at the current IRS rate (50 cents per mile as of January 1, 2010). It is expected that payment will be made at the time of service.

I'm confused by all the Acronymns. What do they stand for:
The Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) uses many acronymns for common, nationally known groups. Albany Presbytery also uses acronymns for many of its committees and task forces. A list defining them is below:

Go to pcusa.org. Scroll down to the bottom of their home page and click on minister directory then type in the person's last name per the page directions. If they have notified their home presbytery's stated clerk's office, and if that office has notified pcusa, current information about your person will be there.

Where can I find the Salary Guidelines/Terms of Call?
 
Salary Guidelines - often confused with specific ministerial Terms of Call - and any issue about or for a ministor or pastor - is a function of COM (Committee on MInstry). On the left-hand, light-blue column, highlight Committees and click on COM. The Salary Guidelines for 2010 are currently found in green under Miscellaneous Informations.
 
 
Where can I find Mission and Ecclesiastical Remittance Forms for 2010?
 
Remittance Forms are used by Church Treasurers for submitting pledged payments throughout 2010. Scroll down to Church Treasurers and click.
 
 
Why is my screen blank when I go to your website?
 
It may be that we are working on that particular page at that moment. It may also be that you have an older version of Internet Explorer in use on your computer. Albany Presbytery currently uses Internet Explorer 8. It may be possible to "refresh" your pages. This button is usually found to the right of the address bar at the top of your page and looks like two arrows in opposite directions. If this doesn't work, you may need to upgrade your web browser to Internet Explorer 8.
