Actions regarding Hebron Center

The amendments proposed by the Rev. David Moore to the pending substitute motion were approved; the substitute motion was declared perfected; and the substitute motion became the main motion. The "new" main motion was then debated and was passed by a vote of 58 yes; 35 no; and 1 abstention. Therefore, the Board of Trustees has been directed by Presbytery to list the entire Hebron property for sale immediately in accordance with the five conditions included in the motion. Furthermore, upon motion made by the chair of the Hebron Board, Presbytery acted to excuse the current members of the Hebron Board from service effective July 30, 2010, with thanks for faithful service. Presbytery also acted to consider the discussion at the meeting to be a first reading of a proposal to amend the Standing Rules to eliminate the Hebron Camp and Conference Center Board.
