National Day of Prayer Gathering, Thurs May 2 at noon – Schenectady City Hall

Do you want to see great things happen in our city? Do you want to see the power of the gospel change the hearts of people and transform our society? If so, we must gather together to pray!

The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 2nd, 2019. On that day there will be a special event held on the steps of the Schenectady City Hall at 12:00 noon. Everyone from our community is invited to this annual ceremony, especially local churches and ministries. Our mayor will address the gathering, and local pastors and teens will lead the people in prayer for our nation, city, and churches. Mekeel Christian Academy’s choral group Faithful Witness will sing. Refreshments will be available and vendors will also be present.

Jeremiah 29:7 says, “Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you … Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”

Please come to this event and join with us as we pray together for our nation, city, and families to be touched by the life changing power of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
