First United Church Presbyterian- Hoosick Falls, NY
2) What are you looking forward to?
YAAD!
I’m looking forward to being a part of something “super Presbyterian” and meeting other young adults who share the same faith as I do. Also, I’ve never been to the West Coast so the geographic location of GA 222 is amazing!
3) What committee are you serving on?
I’m serving on Committee 6 – Polity and Ordered Ministry
4) Would you like to share why you feel called to serve in this way?
I come from a small Presbyterian Church with dwindling numbers. In other churches, I would still be considered a kid at 21. In my church, I’ve been thrust into a major role from a young age. I feel called to interact with other Presbyterians to learn how to keep my church alive, perhaps in different ways than we know or have already tried. I’m excited to see how my role in my church differs from others my age around the country.

4) Would you like to share why you feel called to serve in this way?
Since I was randomly assigned to the committee, I am guessing you are referring to serving as a commissioner. I would say the same reasons apply as in question 2. Being part of the connectional church in action; the learning moments; the fun events; catching up with old friends.
