July 16-20, 2013 | Purdue University

Who can attend?

High school age youth who attend a Presbyte-rian Church. Youth = entering high school freshmen through graduated seniors. College age youth can apply for the Work Force. Con-tact your Registrar for information (Also note that you get a registration discount).

How do I cover the registration and travel costs?

Many Triennium delegations operate using a “1/3” plan. 1/3 of the funding comes from the Presbytery, 1/3 from your church and 1/3 from the individual and fundraising. Travel costs are in addition to the $469. Your registrar will help you manage the fi-nancial cost of the trip. The Albany Presbytery Tri-ennium delegation will travel to Purdue via bus in the company of three other NYS Presbyteries.
UPDATED INFO: Negotiations for travel are ongo-ing. The total cost for registration and travel will be less than $750. As more youth sign up the cost drops. Encourage your youth and friends to come.

How do I actually register?

Your Registrar, Christy D’Ambrosio, Youth Director at First Presbyterian Church in Albany, will complete your registration using an online registration link that is administered by the Purdue University Confer-ence Division. She will contact you and ask you to complete a personal information form that will then be used to input your registration data. Please feel free to contact Christy for further information (christy@firstpresalbany.org or 518-423-4763).

About Albany Presbytery Communications

Albany Presbytery strives to provide relevant information using a variety of communication channels including our website, email, paper mailings, social media, and in-person meetings. Please let us know of any erroneous information you may find. If you have information to share, we would be happy to connect with you. You can contact us via email here.

The purpose of the Albany Presbytery Blog is to share information, tell stories, and promote the mission and ministry of the presbytery, synod and beyond. While the breadth of this medium is intentionally broad, it is not a platform for opinion pieces related to business coming before the presbytery unless designed as part of an initiative to provide a diversity of viewpoints at the direction of the presbytery. Exceptions to this policy may be brought to the presbytery officers who will determine appropriateness of submissions.
