Presbyterian Women (PW) is an independent organization within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) of more than 300,000 women. It offers women in the church meaningful ways to live out their faith in the midst of a caring community of women. Presbyterian Women was created in 1988 with the reunited Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and has a structure similar to that of PCUSA, in that there are groups called Circles at the Congregation level and Coordinating Teams at the Presbytery, Synod and Church-wide levels. You can learn more about Presbyterian Women and what is happening in the Albany Presbytery on the Presbyterian Women Group on the website.
Charlotte has been involved in Presbyterian Women for 35 years and was Moderator of Presbyterian Women in the Synod of the Northeast (PWSNE) from ’11-14. She is currently the Synod Representative from PWSNE to the Presbyterian Women’s Churchwide Coordinating Team. She is also member of Hamilton Union Presbyterian Church in Guilderland.
