Family relationships are becoming casualties of our toxic political environment. Relatives can find themselves in nasty arguments: avoiding one another, even cutting lifelong ties. How do you preserve important bonds while staying true to your values and political beliefs? This free workshop will offer:
- Insight into why political differences are uniquely challenging for families.
- Recognition of roles that family members often play when it comes to political conversation (for example: the Gladiator, the Defender, and the Sniper).
- Strategies and skills for handling political differences more constructively.
Although our focus is especially on family relationships, you can apply these same learnings with close friends, teammates, and fellow members of community organizations.
Along the way, you’ll laugh and have some fun – it’s not 100% serious. After all, don’t most of us come from quirky families?
