Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women (PW) is an independent organization within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) of more than 300,000 women. It offers women in the church meaningful ways to live out their faith in the midst of a caring community of women. Presbyterian Women was created in 1988 with the reunited Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Presbyterian Women has a structure similar to that of PCUSA, in that there are groups called Circles at the Congregation level and Coordinating Teams at the Presbytery, Synod and Church-wide levels.

PW Purpose
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.

10 Annual MoonWine & Cheese Party

Join us for our 10th annual MoonWine and Cheese party! An evening of light bites, wine and yummy desserts! Catered by the incredible Simone’s Kitchen. Learn about how we are addressing period poverty world wide and in our own community and what you can do to help us.

Tickets are $50.00 per person for all earlybirds. Each ticket includes light bites, a glass of wine and dessert! We will be accepting menstrual product donations to help stock our Period Pantries. Enjoy shopping from a selection of hand crafted African items!

Thank Offering

Thank Offering
The Thank Offering is a PW offering collected in the fall of each year that gives women a tangible way to express their gratitude for the special blessings in their lives. The offering funds projects such as agricultural development, child care, community organization, criminal justice, drug counseling, economic justice, elderly care, employment training, homelessness, literacy, violence and women’s concerns. At least 40% of this offering supports health ministries throughout the world. The remaining 60% funds new creative ideas for mission.
