Hamilton Union Presbyterian--Office Manager
Part-time, 16–20 hours per week, with some flexibility on schedule. Position reports to the Pastor.
Serve as Church office receptionist. Answer phone and take messages as necessary. Interact with staff, Church members, and outsiders in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain confidentiality and use good judgment in all communications.
On at least a weekly basis open the mail, enter contributions, expense vouchers, and payroll online into the Church Windows System. Prepare check disbursements from our Church Windows System and mail checks.
Prepare the weekly Church bulletin and announcements on Word from information received from the Pastor and others.
Post information as required on the Church’s Website and on Facebook.
Set up Zoom meetings for Church, committee, and other gatherings as requested.
Maintain the Church calendar including the meeting schedule.
Maintain Church files including paid vouchers, contributions, letters, memos, business documents, etc.
Maintain Church membership records on the Church Windows System.
Maintain book/record of Session meeting minutes.
Maintain Session Manual, receiving pertinent information from the Pastor, Clerk of Session, Committee Chairs, etc.
Prepare/print special reports from information received as required, i.e. Annual Report to Congregation, Annual Presbyterian Woman Program Booklet, etc.
Perform other duties as needed and assigned by the Pastor.
Be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office, Google G Suite, and related applications.
The position provides 1 week (18 hours) of paid vacation and up to 7 paid national holidays if falling on a normally scheduled workday.
