Troy Area United Ministries (TAUM) is grateful to be a mission partner of Albany Presbytery. We experience God’s abundance again and again. We are happy to announce that we are one of 100 organizations nationwide that received a Lowe’s Hometown grant. Our Kitchen is getting some much-needed renovations, and our front entrance is being made fully ADA-compliant. This work strengthens our outreach into the community and our ability to be a community center. What a blessing!
Lowe’s calls “Red Vest Day”
- Saturday, Oct. 19
- 8:30 am
- TAUM, 392 Second St, Troy, NY
Volunteers from Lowe’s will paint, replace some trim and molding, and make a few other improvements. We could use a few hands on deck to help. This is not skilled work–more like a work camp! Food will be provided.
We know that Anti-Racism Training is going on that day. We don’t want to take people away from that opportunity. This is another one!
Thank you, Mission Committee, for reaching out to ask for opportunities to serve. If you can help, please reach out to Donna Elia at delia@taum.org.
