Rev. Margery Rossi (she/her) is a dedicated advocate for peace and justice, bringing a wealth of experience and a steadfast commitment to fostering meaningful change for the common good. She currently serves as pastor of South Presbyterian Church in the Hudson Valley of New York, in addition to serving as Minister for Gun Violence Prevention.
Margery brings more than 15 years of experience in gun violence prevention ministry in congregational and church settings. Margery moderated the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship’s Gun Violence Prevention (PPFGVP) Working Group for six years and served on the PPF Executive Committee for four years before joining the PPF staff in 2024 as Minister for Gun Violence Prevention. She has played a crucial role in shaping and implementing the PC(USA) policy on gun violence prevention and intervention throughout these years, has worked with the PPFGVP Working Group to develop a multitude of resources for ecumenical congregational use, and is a co-founder of the James Atwood Institute for Congregational Courage.
