Each year clergy are required to take the New York State Sexual Harassment Prevention Training. Practical Resource Center (PRC), of which Albany Presbytery is a member, offers this training several times and you may take this training any time during the year.

Once one has finished the training, they issue a certificate saying it has been completed successfully. That certificate should be sent to Rev. David Bennett, Stated Clerk of the presbytery, so that presbytery has a record of completion.

This training is mandatory and not taking it can result in difficulty for the church in getting insurance and action by the presbytery concerning one’s call.
