Albany Presbytery Grants Program [New for 2024]: At the November 19, 2023 Stated Meeting the presbytery adopted the new Grants Program offering grants of up to $20k for capital projects and up to $15k, renewable twice, for mission and ministry initiatives.  Click the link above to read more and access the application.

COMAC Discretionary Fund: This Fund is administered by the Committee on Ministers and Congregations for meeting the emergency and confidential needs of clergy and congregations of Albany Presbytery. Albany Presbytery Peacemaking Task Force Grant Application—Click on the link to complete this form to apply for a peacemaking-related grant.

Peacemaking Offering—This fund is administered by the Presbytery Committee on Church Mission, and comes from the Peace-making Offering. Grants are given to support the efforts of congregations or individuals to live out a deeper commitment to peacemaking as part of our faithfulness to God.

Students in Seminary Fund: This fund is administered by the Committee on Leadership Development. Grants are given to Seminary students to help finance their education or meet other pressing needs. Please contact the Committee on Leadership Development directly to request assistance.

PC(USA) Scholarships for College: PC(USA) members seeking first bachelor’s degree encouraged to apply for undergraduate scholarships from Presbyterian Mission. The deadline for applications is annually on May 15. Click here to learn more.

Church Financial Leadership Grants: If you are a pastor, commissioned ruling elder (CRE), a leader of a 1001 New Worshiping Community or a member of a stewardship team there are Church Financial Leadership Grants available for you. The grants will enable you to institute best practices for church financial leadership, introduce you to new models of giving and stewardship, and offer you new ways to talk about money and form generous disciples within your church. DEADLINE: August 12, 2024

Family Faith Every Day: Family Faith Every Day is an extension of Chalice Media’s Mission to create a world in which families can grow in their love through daily faith practices across generations. Applications will be open the week of May 6 for our Family Faith Every Day congregational cohorts. Selected congregations will receive $15,000 over three years to develop a parenting circle for parents of young children aged 0-3. In addition to the financial support, participating congregations will receive a small resource library, expert coaching with program director Rev. Traci Smith, and time for continuing education and growth through in-person gatherings.

Summer Camp “Camperships”: This fund is provided by Albany Presbytery and administered by presbytery staff. Grants are available to children and youth of Albany Presbytery member congregations/worshiping communities to attend a Christian summer camp. Please read through the updated Full Campership Policy for information before submitting your application.

Presbyterian Women Grants: These grants are administered by the Presbyterian Women of Albany Presbytery. They are for any project that meets basic human needs and are not included in ongoing General Assembly Mission support. Innovation Grant: “We seek to fund projects that are particularly innovative and move the church forward.”

Campus Ministries Grant: “We are looking for creativity and partnerships with local congregations and presbyteries.”

Synod of the Northeast Coach Network Scholarships: Unlock coaching scholarships for ministry leaders! The Synod Coach Network has scholarships available for individual and team coaching. Scholarships include seven hours of coaching for leaders of ministries through the Synod of the Northeast.
