The Hudson River Presbytery Racial Justice Partnership is hosting a two-day workshop focusing on narrative, trauma, and addressing community polarization. This event is open to all interested individuals.

Workshop Content: During the Sunday workshop, we will explore:

  • the difference between narrative and story,
  • the way that narratives: shape our identity; sources of conflict
  • and can be used to resolve conflicts. This applies to personal identities and congregational and community identities.

Speaker: The workshop will be led by Dr. David Hooker, a renowned speaker known for his expertise in narrative studies and community engagement.

Note: Participants have the flexibility to attend either one or both days of the workshop. Each day will focus on a different topic and are experiential/interactive.
